Kitchen Staff/dishwasher, jett sushi
I was responsible for doing tasks that were high pressure and intensive. That job required me to make food in a timely manner, and deal with many orders at once. I did that while also cleaning dishes and carrying heavy crates from the kitchen to the sushi bar. Jett Sushi helped me learn how to multitask and assist, as well as learn from people who knew much more than me. I often had to work with colleagues that spoke a different language than me. That challenged me to adapt to a new way of communicating.

Event staff, highline medical solutions
At Highline, I had the responsibility of managing and assisting large crowds at events. I worked at places such as Empower Field, in which I had to make sure I understood the layout of the stadium to make sure I was giving people accurate information for parking, finding box offices, and directing them to their designated parking spot. I learned the importance of customer service, and how to stay positive and kind with challenging people. To stay professional, I had to learn how to not take anything personally and continue with my intensive tasks.
