Dispatcher – Security (part time, night shift position) at Providence Health Plaza (HR) Bldg 1 in Portland, OR
The Dispatcher is part of the Providence Security Operations Center (PSOC), which is responsible for providing a centralized location for collecting, processing, documenting and disseminating information as it relates to routine and emergency calls for service in the Oregon Region and other contracted facilities. The PSOC operates much like a public 911 center but additionally monitors high risk areas through the use of CCTV, alarms and access control systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Oregon State DPSST Alarm Monitor Certification Or
- Upon hire: Oregon State DPSST Unarmed Professional Certification
- 2 years Experience handling complex matters that includes applying organizational policies and procedures.
- Experience working in environment with urgent or emergency conditions.
- Experience with 2-way radio systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Experience in dispatching environment experience.
- Health care experience.

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
