Outbrain is looking for a Head of People & Culture US to support our NYC, Chicago and remote US employees, both on business partnering and talent acquisition.
As Head of People & Culture US you ll work closely with the business to spearhead strategies to enhance employee s experiences, engagement and performance.
The role will be part of a global P&C team, spread across Israel, US and Europe.& Reporting to the SVP, People & Culture, you ll love this role if you are a practical-minded, passionate and business oriented business partner – you re not afraid to get stuck in and help where needed!

So join us for the next step in our growth journey.&Responsibilities:&&Act as a trusted business partner to leaders, providing guidance on people-related mattersManage all employee relations and liaise with internal and external counsel when requiredWork with data to ensure data-driven people decisionsOwn onboarding and offboarding process for all new startersSupport on org design to optimise for efficiency for the groups you supportManage employee engagement through 121 meetings and more formal engagement surveysSupport on performance management cyclesManage a team of 2 (a Talent Acquisition Partner and a Generalist)Own full hiring process of roles in USHandle day to day employee enquiriesRepresent and execute the People & Culture philosophy and annual processes in the US, becoming a trusted partner for the Global P&C team as well as the US teams on the ground&&Experience:&&Experience managing a cross-functional team of HR and talent acquisition professionalsGood knowledge of US employment lawExperience in a public company preferredComfortable being strategic and hands on at the same timeProven team player who can get stuck in and be proactive&Adapts easily to an ever-changing environmentGlobal company experience (preferred if experience working with Israel)&High tech industry background preferred&A day in the life:&&Today you start on the early side as you ll be working with the Israeli and European teamsStarts day by reporting on talent acquisition KPIs from our dashboardSpent 1 hour talking to the GM, US about org design and future hiresHad a 121 with a direct reportHad some lunch – Outbrain keeps you busy but you must not forget to eat!Spent 1 hour creating a deck to present engagement survey results to the Finance group&Talked with an employee about career development and how they should approach their manager with the topicHad a weekly meeting with the Head of Sales US&Emails – they never go away!The day ends with a manager reaching out to discuss an underperformance in the teamPandoLogic.
