What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout interactions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage within the retail environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and guiding visitors or customers as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with store management and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
