Security Officer Part Time
Location: Denver, CO 80204 – Employment Type: Part-Time – Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour – Schedule: Friday to Saturday | 7:00 PM – 5:00 AMAbout the PositionCitadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Mobile Patrol Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a Denver‑area property during weekend hours. This assignment focuses on proactive patrol activities, property inspections, and maintaining a secure environment during non‑business hours. The successful candidate will spend much of the shift driving between designated patrol areas, conducting security checks, and documenting observations. This role is ideal for someone who is self‑motivated, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently throughout the night.Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Property InspectionsConduct routine vehicle patrols according to established schedulesCheck exterior doors, gates, fences, parking areas, and other designated locationsVerify that buildings and restricted areas remain properly securedPerform periodic perimeter inspections and note any unusual conditionsSecurity MonitoringWatch for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, vandalism, or safety concernsIdentify maintenance issues, hazards, or property damage that require attentionMaintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activityFollow site‑specific procedures when responding to security‑related situationsReporting & CommunicationPrepare detailed patrol reports and daily activity logsAccurately document incidents, observations, and noteworthy eventsCommunicate urgent concerns to supervisors, dispatch personnel, or designated contactsUtilize company reporting systems and mobile applications as requiredProfessional ConductRepresent Citadel Security USA in a professional manner at all timesFollow post orders, operational guidelines, and company policiesDemonstrate sound judgment when addressing unexpected situationsMaintain confidentiality regarding client operations and property informationRequired QualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordMinimum of three years of licensed driving experienceNo significant traffic violations or serious driving offenses within the past five yearsAbility to obtain and maintain a Denver Guard CardStrong observation, communication, and documentation skillsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently during overnight shiftsPreferred ExperiencePrevious mobile patrol, security, or field operations experienceExperience completing incident reports and activity documentationFamiliarity with commercial property patrol proceduresAbility to prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal supervisionWork EnvironmentPrimarily vehicle-based patrol assignmentRegular outdoor activity in varying weather conditionsCombination of driving, walking, and property inspectionsOvernight work requiring continuous alertness and situational awarenessIndependent work environment with routine communication requirementsBenefitsCompetitive hourly payPaid training and site orientationConsistent weekend scheduleOpportunities for additional assignments based on availabilityProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesSupportive leadership and operational teamEqual Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
