The ProGro Team Member will ensure that the sales floor in our market is fully and beautifully stocked with the highest quality produce in Denver. The ProGro Team Members play an essential role in delivering excellence and consistency in service to our customers each day by actively engaging with them, providing assistance, making recommendations, and using sampling to drive sales. ProGro Team Members must also be able to perform all the duties of a Cashier. While experience is always appreciated, we hire for attitude and aptitude while training for excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITESBuilds full, beautiful, and shop-able displays and maintains stock levels on displaysStores product properly both when closing the department at night as well as in back-stock to maintain freshnessContinually assesses quality of product by look, taste, touch, and smellTakes appropriate action on items that are deemed to be poor qualityWhen stocking deliveries to the floor, ensures best practices for product care are followed with fidelityMaintains high level of organization on the sales floor and back stock areasEnsures that every product has proper signage and is properly placed in the designated positionMaximizes time spent on the sales floor to engage with customersEnthusiastically and spontaneously sample products to customersListens to customer requests/feedback and communicates that to the General ManagerCompletes tasks with a strong sense of urgency and efficiency in movementFollows waste tracking and reporting systemsInvolved in conducting and maintaining Marczyk Perpetual Inventory SystemAssists the Product Flow Manager in evaluating quality of fresh items and efficiently loading carts of product in the back room as deliveries are processedResponsible for cleanliness in all areas of the department including equipment.
