We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Patient Service Associate/ Bed Control – Brooklyn. In this role, the successful candidate Manages bed availability and places patients in beds using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Partners with staff from Emergency Departments, inpatient units, Post-Anesthesia Care Units and procedural areas to safely place patients. Job Responsibilities:Other duties as assigned by a supervisory staff. Perform bed placements and functions in a responsive manner, responding to all callers with the aid of the Electronic Health Record (EMR), approved protocols, established patient care protocols and healthcare information. Evaluates bed availability and places patients in the requested level of care. Monitors bed planning and communicates changes in bed status to team members throughout the day.
