The Associate I, Donation Services is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers and/or stand-alone donation centers (ADC). The Donation Services Associates will provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customers’ timely and helping as needed that may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer’s vehicle or other area. Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for items donated. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides excellent customer service, greeting customers in a timely manner, answering product questions as needed. Assists every customer by unloading donations from vehicle or other areas. Ensure that donated items are handled with care and sorted into appropriate bins or production areas. Inspect all donations within assigned areas and make decisions on quality to sort appropriately for the sales floor or to be shipped to other locations.
