Mobility Technician Part Time

Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO.

Department: Medicine Health Services Unit

Work Schedule: Part Time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $18.54 – $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:
Supports patient care by providing highly skilled patient mobility specific to their mobility score and goal achievement

Responsibilities:

• Assists clinical staff with patient mobility, taking vitals as appropriate for mobility needs, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, emotional, mental conditions to nursing and/or therapy staff.
• Responsible for reporting on mobility and align care with nursing and therapy, and document directly within Epic to support clinical team assessments.
• Manages the cleanliness and organization of mobility equipment and the unit, as appropriate in accordance with infection prevention guidelines.

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
