Job Overview:
Bloomingdale’s Housekeeping Support Professionals deliver seamless maintenance, sanitization and cleaning functions – wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, etc. – of the sales floor, rest rooms, fitting rooms, elevators/escalators, break rooms and all other common areas and offices. They possess speed, attention to detail, collaborative spirit and teamwork to ensure a clean shopping and work experience for our customers and colleagues.
Essential Functions:
* Deliver a courteous and professional demeanor to all internal customers and colleagues
* Clean and sanitize work and shopping areas to the highest standards
Qualifications and Competencies:
* No Education or Experience Required
* Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
* Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
* Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
* Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
Physical Requirements:
* Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
* May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and climbing ladders
* Frequently lift/move up to 30lbs
