Detail-oriented and motivated, the part-time hourly Graduate Research Assistant will assist with clinical content coding for an NCI-funded project examining racial healthcare disparities in cancer genetic counseling, working remotely under the guidance of experienced researchers.Key responsibilities:Assist in coding clinical content from cancer genetic counseling sessions to document discussions between genetic counselors and patientsCollaborate with project leads to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical topicsManage coding tasks efficiently, completing approximately 200 to 250 hours of work by the project deadlineRequired qualifications:Completion of at least one rotation in a cancer genetic counseling setting as part of an ACGC-accredited MS Genetic Counseling programProven dependability and reliability in previous rolesProficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applicationsFamiliarity with virtual meeting platforms, such as ZoomCommitment to fostering an environment of respect and professionalism in diverse settings
