This is a great position and one of the more rewarding roles within our team. It requires a lot of work but is very consistent and predictable day to day.
Typical job dough duties include:
– Weigh, portion, and shape dough for par-baking process for all our pizzas and bread sticks
– Light prep work, including slicing and grating cheese, and mixing sauce
– Mix, monitor and manage the dough to be fermented/ proofed overnight for the next day
– Par-bake pizzas to be later used to fulfill orders
– Daily cleanup and upkeep tasks
Job Requirements:
– The ability to be on your feet for 8 hours (with breaks of course!)
– Ability to lift 50lb bags of flour
– Some experience with or passion for dough, baking, and/or pizza
– Some experience working in a commercial kitchen
– Enjoy working fast and being efficient
