You will have an opportunity to
perform a broad range of Human Resources functions actively working to ensure CHFA is a great place to work while modeling the organizational values. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the development, delivery and maintenance of HR strategies, processes and services by providing expertise and guidance within the following areas: talent development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. The essential FUNctions are:
Use knowledge of applicable State and Federal Employment Laws to ensure that Human Resources practices and programs are in compliance with government laws and regulations, including all required reporting. Create, develop and contribute to HR practices and programs are progressive, relevant, and add value to CHFA s corporate strategy while ensuring success in organizational and divisional goals. Develop and oversee talent management and performance management processes, including programs that foster career pathing and mentoring to further enhance the employee experience. Manage, develop, coordinate and offer training opportunities that strengthens CHFA s organizational capacity. Oversee the benefit and wellness programs to ensure CHFA practices are competitive, while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Develop and disseminate regular staff communications to leverage and expand awareness of benefits, resources, and other development opportunities. Oversee the total reward program and salary administration to include job evaluations, job description review, and perform compensation analysis to ensure CHFA s practices are competitive in sourcing and retaining talent. Provide insight and counsel on employee relational matters. Manage Human Resources Information Systems (Paycom and Cornerstone), working directly with the Sr. HR Specialist to ensure functionality is leveraged and system upgrades are communicated to employees. May assist as necessary in the recruiting and onboarding process to meet staffing goals such as communicating pertinent information regarding open positions and company practices, assisting hiring managers in modifying job descriptions, preparing postings for vacant positions, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, referring qualified candidates to hiring managers, background screening process, and extending offer. Participate and contribute in all activities and/or projects that directly support CHFA in fulfilling its mission and achieving its vision through dedication to the community in which CHFA serves.
