Job Description This position is an advanced HRBP role that will require the selected candidate to contribute strategic thought, benefits management, employee relations, HR problem solving and various other duties that will help support the employees and the company. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, responsible, trusted, and forward thinking while providing outstanding customer service to employees and managers. Essential Functions
This position will be the primary person responsible for daily benefits, reconciliation of benefits, working with payroll, handling simple to moderate employee relations situations, employee and management training administration, offboarding employees, employee quarterly newsletter, and working with the Head of HR on strategic initiatives. The person in this role must be a trusted partner to employees and management and will maintain strong relationships to be effective and successful. Additionally, this person will provide backup support to the HRBP as necessary.
Offboarding will include validating that the employee file is complete with resignation letters and/or performance documentation; communication to exiting employees regarding their departure and setting expectations around final pay, benefits, COBRA, 401(k), Life Insurance Conversion, etc.; conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to managers and HR leadership; create data to provide to the leadership team around HR.
