School Custodian, Part-time Part Time

PART-TIME CUSTODIANLocation: Assignments are based on applicant address and job openings within the district.Schedule: Typically a 4 hour shift between 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Summer hours begin in most schools the first week of June and will resume the first week of August. Summer hours are typically 7:00 am. – 11:00 a.m. or 11:30 – 3:30 p.m.Salary: $14.85 per hour Essential Functions and Objectives:View “A Day in the Life of a Custodian” Part-Time Custodian works under the direction of the Facility Manager and/or Assistant Facility Manager, cleaning the facility and performing grounds work in accordance with DPS guidelines. May perform minor maintenance activities on facilities and equipment. Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:Available to work evening hours, a 4 hour shift typically between 5 pm and 12 am. Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion/passing of a paid housekeeping course offered by Denver Public Schools. The course is 20 hours over the course of 5 business days and is held during evening hours.
