The Receptionist II will assist Office Manager as needed, receive phone calls and direct guests while taking messages and paging employees as necessary. The incumbent will also perform clerical duties including typing correspondence, memos, and reports.
The Receptionist can expect the following:
Receive visitors to department and direct them to appropriate personnel or provide routine factual information concerning departmental policies and procedures.
Answer telephone and refer calls to appropriate personnel, take message, and answer routine inquiries.
Type forms, correspondence, and charts.
Maintain records and files according to established filing system.
Sort and classify documents.
Arrange meetings and schedule appointments as needed.
Receive, open, sort, and distribute mail as needed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, multitasking capabilities, and project a professional image.

– EDUCATION – H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
