Job Description
A private residence in New York, NY (UWS) seeks an experienced, detail-oriented, confident, and well-rounded Personal Assistant to work from a private residence home office. The successful candidate will provide in-person support to its principal (who works from home) and assist on day-to-day tasks to assure the household is running smoothly. Tasks can vary from personal to business, as well as managing and working together with one other household staff member. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Act as primary gatekeeper and liaison for principal
Be a mature, detail-oriented, inquisitive, and highly organized professional who is able to work independently, is a self-starter and has excellent common sense and judgment.
Responsible for organizing and managing a heavy calendar with a complex schedule of business and personal matters
Administrative tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the principal
Assist with guest events and party planning for business and personal, dinners, social gatherings, philanthropy, etc.
Responsible for personal shopping, executing special requests, running errands, and related duties as needed
Responding to a heavy volume of e-mails and correspondence.
Working with financial administration tasks and bookkeeping
Booking any appointments, private & commercial flights, travel arrangements, and organizing detailed itineraries.
Communicate and coordinate with domestic staff, vendors and contractors, etc. as needed
Must love working around Pets (1 dog) and children (no childcare is required for this job)
This is a part-time position about 25 hours per week. Monday Friday (9 AM 2 PM).
This is an hourly paid position: $40.00 per hour
Job Requirements:
4-year degree from accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years related experience supporting prominent individuals; both in personal and business capacities
Excellent references from both current and previous employers
Prioritize executive tasks and multi-task effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office and Mac OSX; must be very tech-savvy
Professional mindset and the utmost discretion
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Valid driver s license
Valid US work authorization
