2) Laundry Attendant
“Closing Janitorial Attendant” (La Habra location only):
We are looking for a Janitor or Custodian to work as independent contractors for our laundromat. You will be paid $800/month when working at our La Habra location. You will carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties at our La Habra laundromat. All cleaning supplies and training will be provided. You will work 7 days a week with the hours of 8:30pm-10:30pm (2 hours per day). The goal is to keep and maintain our sparkling clean laundromat.
Responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated laundromat areas (Cleaning detergent trays and inside and outside of machines, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, vacuuming lint trays, restroom cleaning, etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Maintain cleaning supply stock
Clean and maintain bathroom
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
Proven working experience as a Janitor
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently.
“Laundry Attendant” position:
You will assist customers with questions regarding our card system or how to use our washers and dryers. You will also assist with our laundry service while keeping the laundromat clean and free of debris. Cleaning glass, wiping down machines, vacuuming lint trays and keeping the floors super clean is part of your duties. You will be trained on our POS System so you can check in and out laundry orders. Mandatory weekends and nights.
Both positions require:
-Dependable transportation
-Comply with background check and drug screen at time of interview
-Past employment references with good attendance and reliability
-Reliable transportation daily to and from work every day
