Maintain, update, and purge suspense/closed files; examine and perfect documents; determine header data and number return/documents. Perform a variety of administrative tasks using an automated system which involves: inputting, assigning, maintaining, monitoring, or updating work status and inventory records; administering and performing other support activity. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: GS-2 LEVEL: To qualify for the grade 2 level, you must be at least 16 years of age, this is the minimum age allowed for Federal employment If qualifying based on experience:You must have three (3) months of full-time general experience. This experience should be progressively responsible clerical, office or other work that indicates ability to acquire the competencies necessary to perform the duties of this position.ORSuccessfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent High school diploma or equivalent. – The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. Truman Foundation Scholarship Program under Public Law 93-842. Students need not be in actual physical attendance, so long as all other requirements are met. An individual who needs to complete less than the equivalent of half an academic/vocational or technical course-load immediately prior to graduating is still considered a student for purposes of this Program. GPA: Every semester, you must maintain good academic standing with an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. An academic year of undergraduate education is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in an accredited college or university. (e.g. letter from the registrar, unofficial transcripts). An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
